Thank you from the Gift and Apparel Shows

Dear Buyers and Retailers,

Thank you for attending and supporting the Rocky Mountain Gift Show and the Denver Apparel & Accessory Market – February 2017 at the Denver Mart.  The show was held from February 24-27, with the permanent showroom preshow the February 22-23.  This show is the premier show for mountainous, rustic, western, resort and souvenir merchandise.

Prior to the show beginning, our buyer preregistration number was higher than it has been in our history and it showed with more new stores and buyers attending!

Exhibitors in both the permanent showrooms and the temporary booths offered unique and quality products, which you were able to source with ease and accessibility.  Expanded permanent showrooms and over 85 new temporary exhibitors presented fresh, new lines for buyers to discover at the Show.  Every evening, buyers were still placing orders well after the show ended.

This market offered buyers unique treasures every day.  We hope you enjoyed the “Free Lunch Friday” sponsored by the Denver Mart to welcome and celebrate the opening of all permanent showrooms and temporary exhibitors.  Permanent showrooms welcomed buyers in Late Night Shopping Night on Friday to allow for extra time for buyers to shop and enjoy cocktails and appetizers.  We also hope you got to experience, “Margaritaville” featured both Friday and Saturday in the Terrace Gardens and Expo respectively that rose over $500 for the Wounded Warrior Project, through $1 donation and tasty margaritas.  The Saturday Appreciation Dinner in collaboration with the Denver Apparel & Accessory Market was a huge success, where over 500 guests gathered for a delicious dinner and contemporary fashion show.  We hope you were able to expand your horizons beyond just the buying and participated in our seminars presented by Nicole Leinbach Reyhle on 10 Best Practices To Maximize Your Store Experience & Sales and Greg Jameson on Energize Your Website With Digital Ads. Wilcor Outdoors sponsored a Buyers Bonfire, serving hot chocolate with a touch of rum…very tasty.  Finally, eight swag bag winners were overjoyed to receive an overflowing tote bag with unique gifts donated by our exhibitors.

As always, the continuity and cohesive success of the Rocky Mountain Gift Show would not exist without the outstanding efforts of both the staff and exhibitors, and the seamless dedication of the buyers.  The Denver Mart is proud to produce such a convenient, cohesive event for the Rocky Mountain region, and looks forward to serving exhibitors and buyers at the Rocky Mountain Gift Show August 24-28, 2017!
