Buyers from around the region flocked to the Denver Mart for its last hoorah. Buyers and exhibitorsalike were eager to enjoy a face-to-face market. While the mandates of masks and occupancylimits were adhered to, people were making connections and looking towards a brighter 2021.
“This has been the best show ever,” says Shaun McCardell, owner of Lone Rock Clothing, permanent tenant.
Temporary exhibitor Judy Johnson of J J’s Handbags said,“I have never made appointments, and this show I had to.”
The Rocky Mountain Gift Show and the Denver Apparel Markets have been a staple in this region for many years. The building has been open since 1965. Tenants have come and gone, as have buyers, but many made the trip to Denver to be a part of this year’s market to make sure thatconnections were made for business to go on uninterrupted.
The Mart is searching for a new location to accommodate its permanent tenants and, hopefully, flex space for temporaries to join in future markets. For now, we wrap down a 56-year tradition at our current facility and look forward to a new beginning. Thank you to all who attended this year and in years past. You are forever a part of history in the making. To be continued….
